Family Halloween Event

See your favorite fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and spooky stories brought to life from the comfort of your car! Actors from the Oskaloosa Community Theatre, Oskaloosa High School Thespian Troope 228, and the North Mahaska High School Drama Department will be performing pantomimes outside several of our historic buildings for families and visitors to drive by and watch.

FREE admission. There are two versions. Performances from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. are geared for younger audiences, with an emphasis on kooky rather than spooky. Performances from 4:30 p.m. to c. 6:00 p.m. (dusk) are for older youth with a few more scarier elements included (strobe lights may be part of this performance).

The first 31 cars will receive a Halloween Goody bag!

A collaboration with the Oskaloosa Community Theatre, Oskaloosa Thespian Troope 228, George Daily Auditorium, North Mahaska High School Drama Department, and Nelson Pioneer Farm & Museum.
